  • Only native species were planted when landscaping 
  • The grounds are xeriscaped. No FKAA water is used for irrigation.
  • Our storm water management plan directs all rain water to landscape beds
  • Fossilized coral rocks, extracted from the Key Largo Sewer Project were recycled and used to build all landscape beds
  • All fill extracted from on-site trenching was reused onsite
  • Mature Gumbo Limbo Trees that needed to be removed were transplanted instead of being cut down
  • Trees that were removed were recycled onsite into mulch that was used to fertilize the landscape beds
